FEATURED STORY

The Riddle by Delio Pera

In 2055, a bitcoiner known by the nym OrangeEyes died.

A day later a scheduled post went live on his Nostr account.

“Look for my return in twenty-one years.”

Outside of a small community of Bitcoin historians, OrangeEyes was nobody. He posted about bitcoin and gaming, and the occasional quote attributed to his late wife.

The week following, his cryptic post was filled with rumors and dead-
end chases. “Return how? Is he actually dead? Maybe this is one of his games. Someone should check the hospital records.” A year later, his post was a distant memory.

Then, twenty-one years after his death, on the 14th of April 2076,
another message appeared:

“Solid lines of code
Broken in parts told
Of my return seen
Only by those between”

FEATURED PODCAST

Sourcing Clay with Bitcoin Artist Antonio Batzu | Movement of Art Ep. 11 w/ Yonat Vaks

Antonio Batzu, a Bitcoin artist and ceramicist, joins Yonat Vaks to talk about his journey with natural clay, from finding usable material in places like riverbanks, lakesides, roads, and exposed soil to learning how to shape, dry, mix, and fire it using simple, traditional methods.
What started almost by accident, experimenting with clay he found near home and firing small pieces in a household fire, eventually grew into a deeper connection with ceramics and the knowledge behind the craft. Antonio also reflects on what he learned from older generations in Sardinia, including his grandmother and her ceramic traditions connected to bread making.
For him, working with clay is not just about making objects; it is a way of connecting with a much older human story, where even a simple fingerprint left in wet earth can survive for thousands of years.

ARTIST QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“Bitcoin is a tool for freedom. But it's just a tool. If we don't change our mindset and truly deeply understand that the world can be different, and what that actually entails- this too shall become a corrupted tool.”

~ Yonat Vaks, 2026
