Greetings! Thank you all for your amazing feedback on the magazine and shout-outs on social media – every one helps so much, we could not do this without you! The hardcover books are still in production and we’ll let you know as soon as they are ready to ship. We are really excited to send them to you, and we’ve learned so much about the world of publishing. The next edition will certainly be produced in a more timely fashion! 5Ksana This week we are delighted to offer you a sneak peek into a new work by Aksana (also know as 5Ksana). She uses embroidery thread and many hours of proof-of-work to create her phenomenal embroidered bitcoin paintings. 5Ksana is a Bitcoin artist, Fashion designer and professional tailor from Poland, and she has been creating physical Bitcoin art since 2017. “There’s something deeply personal about stitching. Each needle prick is a moment of attention, each thread a thought made visible. Artist Statement
Hand embroidery and Bitcoin will not stop inflation or poverty today. But they can help people think in new ways. They can teach, heal, and inspire.And when stitched together, when shared in communities, exhibitions, and conversations, they become a quiet force for freedom and good.
According to the World Bank, almost half of the world’s population does not use bank accounts. Many millions of people have no access to banking services. These factors are partially responsible for poverty. Bitcoin can solve these issues and increase access to financial services. Moreover, it can also eliminate corruption and make the financial sector more transparent.
These aren’t just stories, they’re lives. And they need to be told, again and again, in ways that people can feel. That’s where we come in. As stitchers, artists, and caring humans, we have something to offer. Every piece we create, every message we share, is a thread in a larger tapestry of change.
