About Tynka
Tynka creates Bitcoin art in traditional media, focusing on the human side of Bitcoin through handmade illustration. Her work centers on family, community, local exchange, and the everyday ways Bitcoin can shape people’s lives. The practice begins by hand, with traditional materials forming the foundation of each work before any digital editing is introduced where needed.
Individual pieces approach Bitcoin through familiar scenes and accessible visual storytelling. "Proof of Work" gives the concept a human dimension by connecting work with effort and stored value. "At the Market" imagines seamless Bitcoin payments at a local farmers market, while "Onwards" treats the rabbit hole as an adventurous journey. "The Fruits of the Work" reflects on the benefits of proof of work for family and community and was used on the cover of the first edition of The Proof of Work Magazine.
Tynka also works across book covers, children’s illustration, editorial illustration, and commissioned projects. Across these formats, her practice favors warmth, clarity, and human-scale storytelling, using traditional drawing and painting to make Bitcoin-related ideas approachable and tangible.
