About NoGood
NoGood’s Bitcoin art centers on illustration translated into limited-run prints, posters, stickers, and other printed objects. Based in Amsterdam, NoGood draws heavily from retro technology and the open web, with imagery informed by older hardware, modified devices, and ideas of ownership and control. The project grew from a return to drawing around the same period that the artist discovered Bitcoin in 2016.
That connection became part of the project from the beginning. NoGood originally operated as a Bitcoin-only store, and the Bitcoin node set up for payments remains in the studio. Over time, the practice expanded through personal work and commissions for projects including Blockstream, TABConf, Bitcoin Magazine, BitBox, Fold, and Voltage.
Physical editions remain an important part of the work. NoGood has produced limited-run prints including "Zero Trust," "Satstreamer," and "OffChain Ramen," along with event posters and sticker sets. In 2026, the artist also released "The NoGood Book," a 272-page self-published monograph bringing together five years of illustration projects. Printed in a limited run of 400, the book documents the development of the practice alongside the open-source and open-web ideas that helped shape it.
Across these works, NoGood combines illustration, print, and publication design with a clear interest in Bitcoin, retro hardware, ownership, and technological independence.
