Mr.Crown

Mr.Crown’s Bitcoin art appears in posters, clothing artwork, and other printed formats created under Renarchy, his independent design project. The work explores privacy, autonomy, technology, surveillance, freedom, and control, drawing on cypherpunk culture, open-source technology, streetwear, underground print, satire, and graphic illustration.

The name Renarchy combines Renaissance and anarchy, reflecting the project’s emphasis on creation, reinvention, and questioning authority. Mr.Crown describes it as a place to make work without a brief, posting schedule, or pressure to satisfy algorithms. Some designs carry direct messages, while others begin with a phrase, shape, image, or visual idea and develop from there.

Renarchy also extends into commissioned artwork for clothing, posters, and related projects. The artist encourages people to print and remix available designs for personal use, allowing the work to move into physical forms beyond the original graphic. Across the project, Mr.Crown keeps independent creation and voluntary participation central, using design as a direct way to engage with Bitcoin, privacy, surveillance, and personal freedom.
