Biography
About Lucho Poletti
Lucho Poletti creates Bitcoin art through hand-signed limited-edition prints and acrylic panels, using the visual language of propaganda, historical banknotes, and symbolic graphic design to examine sound money and monetary freedom. Born and raised in Miami, he studied art from a young age before earning an M.S. in Finance in 2012 and later working in business intelligence. In 2018, he left his corporate career to focus on Bitcoin-related art full time. His banknote-inspired approach grew from an interest in the intricate engraving and visual authority of historical currency, which he reworks within a Bitcoin context.
Poletti’s physical collector editions include works from series such as Novus Moneta Seclorum, Moneta Divina, Cypher Deos, and Bitcoin Certificates. His prints are produced on fine art papers including Hahnemühle German Etching and Photo Rag, then signed and numbered by hand. He also produces limited-edition acrylic panels, including works from the Moneta Divina series. His work has been presented at the Bitcoin 2021, Bitcoin 2022, and Bitcoin 2023 Art Galleries. Across these physical editions, Poletti combines precise graphic construction, monetary iconography, and a direct visual vocabulary centered on Bitcoin.
