About House of Ralfus

House of Ralfus creates Bitcoin art through relief block printing, painting, drawing, and sculpture, with a practice centered on traditional craftsmanship and carefully selected materials. The studio produces 1/1 edition relief block prints on an 1860s Albion Press, using rare handmade papers from Bhutan, Japan, and Italy alongside custom oil inks and original antique frames. The work brings historic tools and materials into a contemporary fine art practice shaped by Bitcoin and ideas of sovereignty.

Sculpture extends this material approach through antique wood and brass, with additional elements including leather and gold leaf. Across both two-dimensional and sculptural work, House of Ralfus emphasizes physical process, hand finishing, and the visible labor behind each object. The studio describes this commitment to making through the idea that every element represents proof of work.

House of Ralfus also works as a curator and exhibition designer, bringing experience in both creating and presenting Bitcoin art. The artist has designed, curated, or exhibited at events including Bitcoin Histórico, Adopting Bitcoin, Plan B Lugano, Plan B El Salvador, Bitcoin Ireland, and BTC Prague. This combination of studio practice and exhibition work places craftsmanship, presentation, and the physical encounter with art at the center of the House of Ralfus practice.
