Biography
About Fzero
Fzero creates Bitcoin art through painting, bringing a background in tattooing into a slower, more meditative studio practice. "GENESIS 113" is the artist’s first painting and took more than 100 hours to complete. The work uses Bitcoin as a source for exploring consciousness, sovereignty, responsibility, and the cultural layer surrounding voluntary coordination.
In "GENESIS 113," Bitcoin is represented as light, while black rays introduce a visual tension between entropy and consensus, chaos and order. A central eye symbolizes awareness and perception, while the tower below functions as an opt-in signal rather than a monument to authority. Gold appears as a reference to value shaped through time, restraint, and alignment.
Fzero describes painting as a significant departure from tattooing. Where tattooing is immediate and collaborative, painting offered silence, slower concentration, and extended periods of focused work. That change in pace became part of the experience behind the piece.
The work also reflects Fzero’s interest in Bitcoin beyond price or technology, focusing instead on responsibility, voluntary participation, truth, and the way shared rules can coordinate individuals without centralized control.
